Leanne holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Legal and Justice Studies from Southern Cross University, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Skills, and Ethics from Griffith University. She was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia in 2005.
Since her admission, Leanne has practiced primarily in family law, developing extensive experience in all areas of this field. She has also worked in migration, litigation, and criminal law, broadening her expertise. Leanne is well liked by her clients, and known for her empathetic approach. Leanne strives to resolve matters without court intervention whenever possible, helping clients explore all reasonable options before pursuing litigation. Her clients benefit from her ability to balance strong advocacy with sensible, pragmatic, and cost-effective advice.
Outside of her legal career, Leanne cherishes spending time with her kids. She also enjoys yoga, dancing and baking.
