Amy Ellilly
Amy Ellilly is a Consultant Lawyer with a strong focus on immigration and administrative law. She is passionate about helping individuals navigate complex legal systems and regularly assists clients in high stakes matters involving immigration detention, visa cancellations, merits review applications, temporary and permanent visas.
Amy brings over seven years of experience working within government, including roles at the Magistrates’ Court of Victoria and the Department of Home Affairs. This experience has provided her with valuable insight into government decision-making processes and a practical understanding of the challenges faced by individuals interacting with government authorities.
In addition to her immigration practice, Amy also works in criminal law, where she is driven by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives during some of their most difficult moments.
Amy assists senior lawyers within the firm on criminal law matters involving both summary and indictable offences and works collaboratively with barristers in the preparation and conduct of complex criminal matters, providing instructing support.
Outside of her legal practice, Amy enjoys spending time on the farm, embracing nature and riding horses whenever she has an opportunity. When she is not working, much of her time is devoted to raising her two young children.
