Georgia Storm
Georgia has practiced law in Queensland since being admitted to the legal profession in 2008. She specialises in service delivery to rural, remote, and Indigenous clients in family, civil and criminal law. In addition to private practice, Georgia has worked for Legal Aid Queensland, and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Service. She has an established reputation for wise assessment and advice, effective advocacy, and trustworthy representation.
She is a PhD candidate, and holds a Master of Philosophy (Indigenous), Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Commerce, and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. She is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland. When she is not practicing law, she is helping organisations design and deliver change.
Georgia has extensive experience in state and Commonwealth courts and tribunals. Her practice includes defending child protection and domestic violence order applications; family law; criminal and traffic law; administrative decision reviews; workplace disputes; organisational risk management, change, and policy review. She especially enjoys working in small communities, where she pursues and defends matters with both rigour and sensitivity.
